Thereafter, he managed training projects in Italy and abroad, providing consultancy to public and private enterprises on educational programmes, especially where self-instruction, open learning and distance education are concerned.

From 1995 to mid-1998 he has been responsible for the technical assistance, the monitoring and the animation of projects and programmes financed by the European Commission (MED-CAMPUS DG I; EMPLOYMENT Initiative DG V).

Established as an independent consultant in August 1998, Federico Bussi provides training seminars on Project Cycle Management (Logical Framework approach) and facilitates workshops based on GOPP (Goal Oriented Project Planning) method.

He is a Founding Member of the GOPP Moderators Association.
